VH1's Basketball Wives: It may have a point

We saw Basketball Wives last night, a show about the lives of wives (we can only remember there being two actual wives.) THe crew is led by Shaq's ex-wife Shaunie O'Neil. The show follows the women around at various events and meetings and documents their lives and drama.

Whatever your opinion may be on the show, this show brings up an important issue. The women complained of money not being enough in a relationship, especially when they went to bed alone at night. Staying in a relationship for money is wrong, but there are those who do it.

However, these women marry these men knowing that money and security would come along with it just like most women do. Are you staying in a relationship just because it provides you security, financially or emotionally? If so, that might not be what you want. You be the judge.
