Danny Glover arrested in protest; Standing Up for you rights

Danny Clover and 11 others were arrested during a labor union protest at a food service company at its' Maryland headquarters.

Montgomery County police spokesman Capt. Paul Starks says Glover and others stepped past yellow police tape and were asked to step back three times at Sodexo headquarters. When they refused, Starks says officers arrested them.
They can face a $1000 fine or up to 90 days in jail.  Starks said they knew they could risk arrest

The Service Employees International Union was protesting what it calls Sodexo's unfair and illegal treatment of workers. Sodexo says the union was spreading misinformation.

What's a society where you can't stand up for what you believe in?  Often times, we worry more about the consequences, than standing up for our beliefs.  Sometimes, going against the norm is what living means, especially living in America.  Using your voice for a cause is what this country stands for.
