Lady Gaga Opens Up About Celibacy; Why celibacy is important?

Lady Gaga opened up recently about her celibacy and why she is to the Daily Mail.

I'm single right now and I've chosen to be single because I don't have the time to get to know anybody. So it's OK not to have sex, it's OK to get to know people. I'm celibate, celibacy's fine.

She also had this to say about growing up and feeling pressure about sex

I remember the cool girls when I was growing up. Everyone started to have sex. But it's not really cool any more to have sex all the time. It's cooler to be strong and independent.

We are glad that she decided to open up about this because being celibate while being single is the safest and most rewarding thing to choose when single. There are so many pressures in high school and in this media to have sex. Teenagers and adults need to know that having sex is everything. There are so many benefits to remaining celibate that people do not tell you about.
