Jim Carrey defends Tiger Woods; Sticking by a cheater

Jim Carey defended Tiger Woods via Twitter. He responded to Masters Chairman Billy Payne criticisms of Tiger. He had this to say about the embattled actor.

"I made a Tiger joke today, but after listening 2 Payne's speech I think it's time we checked our collective EGO and let the guy play!"

Carrey went on to say that while Woods was "wrong" for behaving badly, his wife Elin Nordegren was partly to blame for the sports star's indiscretions.

"No wife is blind enough to miss that much infidelity," Carrey wrote. "Elin had 2 b a willing participant on the ride 4 whatever reason. Kids/lifestyle."

Jim Carrey then said " I want 2 make it CLEAR that I do not condone infidelity at all, but 2 some degree the responsibility 4 it is shared by both people."

If you knew your lover was cheating, but you felt bound to the situation for whatever reason, would you turn a blind eye to what was going on? We are not agreeing with Jim Carrey in any way, but there are people who do this. Standing by your lover after they have committed infidelity is seen by some as a very strong act to do. If you an muster up the courage to do so, then by all means, go ahead. On the other hand, if it is destroying you or causing you any emotional distress whatsoever, you have to leave. Self-love means moving on from those things that hurt us, no matter what may be binding us to the situation.
