Women of Sex and the City speak on Chemistry: "Sometimes Feelings Get Hurt"; Stopping the Combative Culture Among Women

The women of Sex and the City spoke on the rumors of their fueding and catfights on set of the 'Sex in the City" tv show and the subsequent movies.

Sarah Jessica Parker responded:
''When you're on set, you're working 90-hour weeks, you're never home, you're exhausted.  There are times when all of us have been sensitive and sometimes feelings get hurt. But I don't have any regrets about how I've treated people.'

 Castmate Cynthia Nixon agreed saying:

'It hasn't always been smooth sailing. But the idea that we're somehow adversarial is ludicrous.'
Kim Cattrall summarized it saying:

'Nineteen-hour workdays are stressful, whether you're driving a truck, working in a coal mine or on a set and trying to be your brightest at 4 o' clock in the morning. But there's a camaraderie that happened through all of that...'The chemistry among the four of us is very strong.'
The media and our culture in general loves to create sensationalized rifts between women.  Women often feed into this without even knowing that they are.  Women have to be way more accepting and understanding of each other.  Tempers are going to flare between anybody and not everybody is going to see eye to eye, but if you keep everything professional and not let it get personal, drama will not ensue.  Women are natrually emotional creatures, but feeding into the stereotypes of women and their combative culture is not going to progress us as a society.
