Rapper Gucci Mane to be Released from Jail; Ex-offenders Stats

Rapper Gucci Mane, who has appeared on songs with Mariah Carey and Lil Wayne, is to be released from jail next week according to reports.
Reps for Gucci Mane confirmed to RapRadar that Gucci Mane will be released from Georgia's Fulton County jail on Wednesday, May 12th.

The rapper was jailed in November for probation violation after reportedly testing positive for marijuana and cocaine, a charge that's since been disputed by people in his camp.
Gucci has many projects coming up including a new album, management deal with First Avenue Management
He's also started his own record label 1017 Brick Squad Records, the home of O.J. Da Juiceman, Waka Flocka Flame and Gucci Mane himself.

We hope he stays out of jail this time, but he may not if statistics are correct.  More than half of convict criminals return to jail within the first three years.  There is so much to be said about our prison system as it has turned into a corporation that makes money instead of a place of rehabilitation for our criminals.  For more statistics on ex-offenders, click here
