Whitney Houston has postponed the opening date of her European leg of her tour due to illness. She has been diagnosed with an upper-respiratory infection. Her tour will now start on Thursday in Manchester instead of on the original date Tuesday.
Whitney has received criticism for her tour with rocky performances in Australia. Rumors swirled of her being out of breath, passing out backstage and being sick. Everybody knows Whitney Houston has had a quite public battle with drugs and was scared that she might revert back to them due to the demands and extreme stress that touring causes.
We as Americans work ourselves really had that sometimes we take our health for granted. Resting and relaxing are two things we take for granted. Getting proper sleep and finding techniques to unwind and relax are essential to staying mentally, emotionally and physically healthy. Reading a book, taking a bath, listening to music are all good ways of receiving stress. Self-love means taking care of yourself and staying happy.
