Controversy over new 'Sex & The City' Poster; The Price Of Fame
Katherine Jackson throws grandchildren out; Taking responsibility off our parents
According to TMZ, the 79-year-old told Alejandra Genevieve Oaziaza, who lives at the Jackson estate with two of her children with Randy Jackson and two with Jermaine Jackson, that they all must move out within the next week.
Katherine — who is the legal guardian of her tragic son Michael Jackson’s three children — feels that taking care of seven children is too much to handle and according to TMZ, her decision was prompted by the stun gun incident.
Katherine has arranged to move Alejandra, Jaafar, Jermajesty, Donte and Randy Jr. to a San Fernando Valley condo owned by the estate.
Katherine is currently the guardian of her deceased son Michael Jackson's three kids, Prince Michael, 13, Paris, 11, and eight-year-old Prince Michael II, who is known as ‘Blanket’.
This seems like it was for the best. Where is their father in all this because Katherine's main concern is taking care of Michael's three kids and that is it.
We as children can sometimes get really selfish and added unneeded stress on our parents. Whether it be having them take care of our kids, or bailing us out of different situations or taking care of our problems. You have to know when to take responsibility of your life at some time and point in your life and not have your mother and father taking care of your responsibilities.
"I'm Ashamed of it" says BET's Co-Founder Sheila Johnson of the channel
“Don’t even get me started,” says the 60-year-old Johnson, who has since divorced and remarried (charmingly enough, to the Virginia circuit court judge who presided over her divorce). “I don’t watch it. I suggest to my kids [a 20-something daughter and a college-age son] that they don’t watch it… I’m ashamed of it, if you want to know the truth.”
Johnson—who was at the Tribeca Film Festival this week for the premiere of The Other City, a searing, but ultimately hopeful documentary she produced about the AIDS epidemic in Washington, D.C.—says BET is making matters worse, and potentially contributing to the spread of AIDS, by promoting promiscuous, unprotected sex in raunchy late-night rap videos.
She also criticizes other channels and their programming.
“I just really wish—and not just BET but a lot of television programming—that they would stop lowering the bar so far just so they can get eyeballs to the screen,” she says. “I know they think that’s what’s going to keep programming on the air; that’s what’s going to sell advertising. But there has got to be some responsibility. Somebody has got to take this over. Because with all the studies that are out there, this is contributing to an atmosphere of free sex, ‘I don’t have to protect myself anymore.’”
What do you think of her claims? Does BET have a responsibility as a reflection of the black culture to reflect a more positive view of the black culture? Does Sheila Johnson and her husband have some responsibility in laying the foundation for what the network has become now? Doesn't this apply to other networks such as VH1 and MTV whose programming is the same. You be the judge.
Why do we allow ourselves to be entertained by the things that networks like BET, VH1 and MTV show? It seems like it does not take a lot to entertain us anymore. Remember shows like Teen Summit on BET that really spoke to the youth and real issues in society. Remember when channels like MTV and VH1 only played music and celebrated the positive aspect of celebrity culture. It seems like we have allowed them to tell us what entertains us and we just take it. We need to reassess what we call entertainment and what we allow minds to be exposed to.

Time Magazine releases 'Least Influential' List along with 'Most Influtential' List
Time Magazine released its annual 'Most Influential People' list this year, but along with this they released a 'Least Influential' list.
Was this in good taste? This list does seem like it is taking shots at a few celebrities who have not really done anythng this year like Rue McClanahan, former American Idol host Brian Dunkleman, and even Grover from Seasame Street. This list seems really pointless and sort of mean-spirited.
For those who are already down, we should not try and bring them down even more. It only creates low self-esteem and creates a negative environment that nobody wants. Try to be more helpful than hurtful and it will make you feel all-the-better.
New Dance Questions reflections of our society; Helping our young men
This new dance called the D*ckslanger. This video is NSFW and pretty graphic. Watch below.
This is quite sad and embarrassing to watch. We have to do a better job in our society with teaching our young men how to act and carry themselves. This can be the result if you do not. It takes a man to raise a real man, our women can only do so much.
There are many ways to help mold and help our young men. Big Brother/Big Sister is a great organization that allows you to spend an hour out of your week mentoring and helping children and young adults who need a mentor in their lives. Halle Berry splits with model boyfriend; Joys of single-life.
According to TMZ, they two are also negotiating te custody of their child, 2-year old Nahla.
Halle Berry seems to have had a hard time keeping a boyfriend or husband. We hope she is alright though, and wish her a peaceful and amicable divorce. We are happy these two are trying to work this out in a peace ful way.
Being single is not the worst thing in the world. She can use this time for personal growth, learn her mistakes from her last relationship, and focus on work. She is also free to have fun without any restraints. Most people hop from relationship to relationship, but forget being single can also be fun!
The Troops Entertaining Us with Lady Gaga Parody
The troops of the 82nd Airborne division put on a video production to entertain us with Lady Gaga's "Telephone"
We could learn something from the troops. They are always in danger, but manage to keep level-headed in the midst of everything. Take a breather today, and enjoy those around you. Laugh and joke around today, you deserve it!

Sandra Bullock closely tied to New Orleans even before adoption
Sandra Bullock's adoption only makes since now because she was already closely tied to New Orleans even before the adoption.
After Hurricane Katrina, Bullock became a major supporter of Warren Easton Charter High School, the first public high school for boys in Louisiana. The historical school sustained $4 million in damages, and the actress, who tells PEOPLE she "felt such a profound need to do something for them," has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars for renovations, new band uniforms and a new health clinic. This is good to see that she has already been helping out in New Orleans after Hurrican Katrina. There is still so much to do in New Orleans even 5 years after Hurrican Katrina and more light needs to be she on it. Do your part and help out the best way you can. Homes still need to be built and you can donate if you want, click here to find out how.
She has also established a $10,000 college scholarship. Not to mention, before Bullock scored a Best Actress Oscar for starring in The Blind Side, which was written by New Orleans native Michael Lewis, she used the film's New Orleans premiere as a fundraiser to benefit the school. Her generosity even earned her an induction into the school's hall of fame last year.
"She acts as if all 800-plus of these children are her own," Warren Easton's principal Alexina Medley tells PEOPLE. Adds school board member Arthur Hardy: "She has been our angel. We love her."

Organization plans to picked Constance McMillen's prom; Help for troubled LGTB Teenagers
The Kansas-based church also picketed a dead soldier's Matt Snyder funeral because of his sexuality.
“[We] will picket the graduation of Itawamba Agricultural High School to remind the parents, teachers and students of this nation that God said 'Thou shall not lie with mankind, as with womankind, it is abomination.' This generation has been raised to believe that they can live for the devil and still go to heaven, that God has no standards and the biggest lie of all – that God loves everyone.”
It is sad that people still like like this. This is a sad testament to the type of people we still have in this country. But Fame & Change is hoping that through this blog, we can teach the tolerance and self-acceptance skills to combat these socially-toxic mentalities.
If you are a teenager and are feeling scrutiny over your lifestyle or sexuality decisions, you are not alone. It is our differences that make our country great. You are an awesome person and should not change a thing about you. We should also learn to accept each other for our differences. Being homosexual or transgender is not wrong is the same thing as being a skin color, gender or culture. For the church to be a so-called place of refuge, it does not act that way. Alexander McQueen suicide drug fueled; Suicide statistics and recognizing signs
According to the coroner, fashion designer Alexander McQueen's death was fueled by drugs.
Per a report issued by London coroner Paul Knapman and obtained by the BBC, the famed British fashion designer was "overwhelmed with grief" at his mother's death just days before and had taken cocaine. He also had anti anxiety medication, sleeping pills and tranquilizers in his system, all of which likely played a key role in his decision to kill himself at his London flat Feb. 11.
"[McQueen] had a history of self-harm and, no doubt fueled by cocaine, he resorted to desperate measures to end his life," Knapman wrote Wednesday, adding that "the balance of his mind was disturbed."
The coroner's report also quoted the 40-year-old designer's psychiatrist, Dr. Stephen Pereira, as saying McQueen had been diagnosed with mixed anxiety and depressive disorder and had insomnia, but failed to keep appointments to talk about his condition.
After his mother died in 2009, he said "felt that was the one link that had gone from his life and there was very little to live for."
Dhani Jones gives his outrageous "list" of qualities he like in a women; Are you chasing a 'dream' partner
This list is quite long, but you have to admit, a lot of us have lists like these. This is, in fact, why single people stay single and find it hard to find their soul mates. This is probably the 'perfect' woman, but no 'perfect' woman exists like this. this is moreso a dream woman. Until you know that love is compromise and doesn't come in any shape and sizes, you will NOT find love. We hope Jones can pull it together and make some cuts off this list before he winds up an old man with a lot of dogs around him. Men tend to go from woman to woman searching for this 'perfect' woman and are sorely disappointed in the end, because they don't find her and have probably missed out on a great woman in the process. Check your 'list' and see if you are wanting a reality or are chasing a dream.Dhani Jones went on Shade 45 “The Morning After With Angela Yee” to talk about the new season of his Travel Channel show “Dhani Jones Tackles The Globe” where he participates in national pastimes around the world such as a strongman competition in Iceland, and cricket in Jamaica and while he was there he admitted that he’s been single for awhile and he keeps a LIST of qualities he’s looking for in a woman. She’s gotta have at least 75% of the list for him to even consider her:smart
quick-witted, yet possesses a calming motherly quality
adventurous
sporty
speaks languages
cooks
tall, slender (but she can be a little bit thicker)
from a great background
Exotic, maybe light brown/olive complected/mixed background
well-traveled
huge heart
creative soul
strong
independent
stands firm behind her man (but not in front, perhaps beside)
long hair
no weave
incredible hands
insatiable eyes
wants a huge family
can talk to a homeless person or a wealthy person
she can play in the mud in the morning and go to a black tie event at night
she’s ok on her own but she loves her man
independently wealthy helps
Sandra Bullock adopts African-American Baby, files for divorce; Adoption Statistics in America
One shocking and one not-so-shocking detail has came from the Sandra Bullock saga; She has filed for divorce from Jesse James and she has adopted a little baby boy.
"Yes, I have filed for divorce," the actress, 45, tells PEOPLE in the latest issue, in which she also reveals she has adopted a son, 3½-month-old Louis. We wish her this best for this, but she had more to say about the baby boy named Luis who is 3 1/2 months old to PEOPLE.
A rep for Bullock confirms the star filed legal papers seeking to end her marriage, but declines to specify in what jurisdiction they are filed. Says Bullock of her decision to divorce: "I'm sad and I am scared."
He's just perfect, I can't even describe him any other way," Bullock reveals exclusively in the new issue of PEOPLE, announcing that she is the proud mother of Louis Bardo Bullock, a 3½-month-old boy, born in New Orleans. "It's like he's always been a part of our lives."
Bullock, 45, and husband Jesse James, 41, began the adoption process four years ago and brought Louis home in January but decided to keep the news to themselves until after the Oscars. Their close friends and family – including James's children Sunny, 6, Jesse Jr., 12, and Chandler, 15 – were essential in keeping the adoption a secret
Sandra is now in the process of filing for adoption as a single parent.
Usually celebrities go to Africa to adopt children, but their are plenty of children over here in America that need adopting. Their were an estimated 55,000 children adopted in 2008 and an estimated 123,000 waiting to be adopted. Not everybody has to have kids, you can also adopt children as an alternative choice. This process is long, however, each child has to wait 5 years to be adopted.
Nearly 40 percent of American adults, or 81.5 million people, have considered adopting a child, according to the National Adoption Attitudes Survey. If just one in 500 of these adults adopted, every waiting child in foster care would have a permanent family.

Lindsay responds to fathers allegations; some facts on HIV/AIDS
“He’s a grown man and has done the exact same things on TV/interviews, [so] why wouldn’t he lie on Twitter, and everywhere else! He just wants money – and he’s using me, my name, my status, my mother, brothers and sister for the cash to pay for [another] wedding.“
Remember that just because you are HIV positive, does not mean you have AIDS.
By the end of 2007, an estimated 455,636 people were living with AIDS in America (50 states plus the District of Columbia). The highest numbers were in California, Florida, New York State and Texas.
The CDC estimates that around 1.1 million adults and adolescents are living with HIV in the USA, including those not yet diagnosed, and including those who have already progressed to AIDS.
Stay safe out here people. If you are sexually active, make sure you go get tested once every six months,
EVEN
IF YOU ARE IN A COMMITTED RELATIONSHIP.

Tiki Barber seen around town with mistress while wife in hospital; Getting two-sides to a story
Tiki Barber has been seen out on the town while his wife is in the hospital due to complications with pregnancy.
"[Ginny] is very heavily pregnant and was last week ordered into the hospital on bed rest," the friend said.
This is very sad, but we shouldn't be so quick to cast Tiki Barber as a dead beat husband. There are ALWAYS two sides to a story and we are pretty sure Barber has a side to the story that no one knows. We can be very one-sided people and pass judgements without getting the full story on a situation. Before you pass judgement on a situation, make sure you get the other side before you make your judgements on a situation.
"Meanwhile, Tiki has been spotted all over town with his new girlfriend while she was in the hospital.

Jenna Jamenson in domestic violence dispute with boyfriend Tito Ortiz; signs of domestic violence
We're told someone called 911 today at 9:53 AM and reported a "disturbance."
Tito is currently in custody and on his way to a Huntington Beach jail in Orange County, CA.
Tito and Jenna are not married -- but they have twin boys together.
This is quite sad. We hope that both the twins and Jenna Jamenson are alright. Signs that your partner might be an abuser may be hard to recognize, but can be. Remember domestic violence doesn't have to be physical, but mental and emotional. Also, men can also be abused in a relationship though most women are.
■Calls you names, insults you or puts you down
■Prevents you from going to work or school
■Stops you from seeing family members or friends
■Tries to control how you spend money, where you go or what you wear
■Acts jealous or possessive or constantly accuses you of being unfaithful
■Gets angry when drinking alcohol or using drugs
■Threatens you with violence or a weapon
■Hits, kicks, shoves, slaps, chokes or otherwise hurts you, your children or your pets
■Forces you to have sex or engage in sexual acts against your will
■Blames you for his or her violent behavior or tells you that you deserve it
You may also be experiencing domestic violence if you're in a lesbian relationship with someone who:

Travis Porter concert ends in violence; Our culture of violence
The group consisting of members Strap, Quez, Ali performed at a in Albany, Georgia at a block party sponsored by SOWEGA Tax Services.
The group performed a three song set at a nearby amphitheater when violence erupted.
According to a Police spokeswoman there were incidents of violence at three different locations including the city's Turtle Park, Ray Charles Plaza and Oglethorpe Boulevard and Front Street.
Spokeswoman Phyllis Banks reported the information to the The Albany Herald saying that several dozens gathered as a fight broke out about 6:40 p.m. at the city's Turtle Park as the concert was ending.
One female suffered a head injury and several people were arrested by the Albany Police Department. This is not the first time a Travis Porter concert has ended in violence. There have been several incidents in Texas and in Georgia that have ended in violence.
We live in a culture of violence that needs to be addressed. A lot of us do not know how to handle or address issues properly, and it often becomes misplaced. Learning how to address your emotions properly and maturely can lead to greater success in the long run individually.

Lindsay Lohan fired from film; The importance of having 'Bankable' people in our lives
Lindsay Lohan was cur from a upcoming movie called "The Other Side" because she's not "bankable," according a source connected with the production of the flick.
"Our team simply chose to move on from Lindsay and we'll soon be announcing a replacement." said the writer/director David Michaels.
Sources say that the people financing the film were kind of fickle about getting insurance on her.
This does raise an intriguing argument. When movies are filmed, the directors have to get insurance on the cast and crew anytime they are about the shoot the film. The more bankable and healthy the star seems, the more likely they are to gain insurance on them. But do we, in some way, do this in our own lives?
When you are looking for a partner or a friend, do you want somebody who is profitable to you and your life? Think about this when you begin to invest time into a friendship or relationship. Is this person profitable to me and my life or are they a risk to any of my goals I am trying to achieve of life.
Picture raises Question surrounding Mariah Carey and pregnancy; Criticism of weight
A recent photo of Mariah has people questioning whether she is pregnant or just gaining weight? This was a recent post on Perez Hilton's page.
Whether or not Mariah is pregnant, some of the questions concerning her weight have been quite critical. Why are we so critical of others weight and size? Do we not want our celebrities to be a reflection of us? Mariah is the size of an average American but is being criticized for putting on the pounds. We should be happy with her and ourselves at any size. We are so quick to criticize others for a weight gain. We should learn to accept each other no matter what size unless you fear it is having a negative effect on their health. We have to learn how to be a lot more helpful to each other and not so negative.

Pamela Anderson staying in Trailer Park!!; Watching how we judge others by their living conditions
Pamela Anderson has been staying in a mobile home for the past two years while her home is being renovated.
"[Pam] has been living in a mobile home (and loving it)," Anderson's manager Peter Asher explains to E! "Her house is being renovated—a process which (as so often seems to be the case) has been fraught with all kinds of difficulties including legal issues."
According to Asher, Anderson has been living in the mobile home for the past two years since deciding to completely transform her traditional Malibu house to a more contemporary design, dropping $4 mil on the placeBefore we past judgement on her, we have to remember, she can afford to stay anywhere, but wants to stay in a trailer home. We can't be so quick to pass judgment on her for wanting to do this. It may not be your place to stay, but we are sure there is a reason why she is staying there. The trailer home may represent simplicity and a nice distraction from her glamorous life. We are so quick to judge others, without taking into account their way of life and way of thinking. A person from the ghetto is just the same as a person in the suburbs, the only difference is a bit of money.

Brett Michaels suffers brain hemorrhage, rushed to hospital; Brain Hemorrhage 101
According to reports, Brett Michaels was rushed to the hospital late Thursday night after suffering from a brain hemorrhage near his brain stem.
Michaels is reportedly in critical condition at an undisclosed hospital. According to the rep, Michaels was suffering from excruciating headaches earlier in the day.
Michaels underwent several tests, the rep says, including CAT Scans and MRIs.
Michaels suffered from a "subarachnoid hemorrhage" -- bleeding at the base of his brain stem.
But Michaels is receiving excellent treatment and will hopefully pull through
, people who don't receive proper medical treatment after suffering a subarachnoid hemorrhage have a 20% to 30% chance of experiencing a second bleed within the first month -- and the odds of surviving a second bleed are extremely slim.
Cedars states, "Recurrent bleeding has a 70% mortality rate."
Fortunately, Michaels is reportedly being treated in a capable medical center.
However, it appears as though Michaels is already beating the odds -- Cedars reports that roughly 1/3 of people who have a subarachnoid hemorrhage die during the hemorrhage because of extensive brain damage. Obviously, Michaels has already cleared that hurdle.
As for Michaels' treatment, Cedars warns, "Because of the ominous prognosis with delayed definitive therapy, referral to a center of excellence with experience in treating subarachnoid hemorrhage is imperative."Our prayers go out to Brett Michaels and his family at this time. There are some facts on brain hemorrhages that you need to know.
A brain hemmorhage can be caused by any number of things including:
- Head trauma. Injury is the most common cause of bleeding in the brain for those under 50.
- High blood pressure. This chronic condition can, over a long period of time, weaken blood vessel walls. Untreated high blood pressure is a major preventable cause of brain hemorrhages.
- Aneurysm. This is a weakening in a blood vessel wall that swells. It can burst and bleed into the brain, leading to a stroke.
- Blood vessel abnormalities. Weaknesses in the blood vessels in and around the brain may be present at birth and diagnosed only if symptoms develop.
- Amyloid angiopathy. This is an abnormality of the blood vessel walls that sometimes occurs with aging. It may cause many small, unnoticed bleeds before causing a large one.
- Blood or bleeding disorders. Hemophilia and sickle cell anemia can both contribute to decreased levels of blood platelets.
- Liver disease. This condition is associated with increased bleeding in general.
- Brain tumors.
There are several symptoms to a brain hemorrhage that may occur suddenly or get worse over time. They depend on the location and severity of bleeding and the amount of tissue affected:
- a sudden severe headache
- seizures with no previous history of seizures
- weakness in an arm or leg
- nausea or vomiting
- decreased alertness; lethargy
- changes in vision
- tingling or numbness
- difficulty speaking or understanding speech
- difficulty swallowing
- difficulty writing or reading
- loss of fine motor skills, such as hand tremors
- loss of coordination
- loss of balance
- an abnormal sense of taste
- loss of consciousness
Naomi Campbell punches cameraman; Dealing with somebody with anger issues
"I didn't receive a blood diamond and I'm not going to speak about that," Campbell angrily answered before leaving.
Actress Mia Farrow — who visited the home of South African president Nelson Mandela at the same time as Campbell and Taylor, the former president of Liberia — told prosecutors she heard Campbell describe receiving a "huge diamond" from Taylor in the middle of the night
Obviously these anger issues are deeply rooted. Constantly dealing with somebody with anger issues can be quite troublesome. The best thing to not to antagonize the situation, but be firm in your interactions. Giving them time is usually your best bet. Just keep yourself safe first and foremost and if any alcohol is involved, steer clear.

Jennifer Lopez Happy WIth Motherhood, Career
Jennifer has twins named Maximillion David and Emme Maribel who are both 2 years old.
“I was working and my whole life was merging together, and it was just total happiness for me, a real feeling of wholeness,” she explains
Even though she has returned to acting, Jennifer Lopez wants to observe each milestone.
“I want to spend as much time with them as I can,” she explains. “Everybody, every parent always says to you, ‘It goes so fast! It goes so fast!’ and it’s true, two years have gone by so quickly and so I just want to be with them as much as we can until they are 18.”
This is an awesome time in Jennifer Lopez's life. You can balance out working, family and your marriage if you make a conscious effort. Motherhood can be a beautiful thing and doesn't have to be stressful. According to the census, 55% of mothers with infants are in the labor force and 72% of mothers who do not have infants are in the labor force. If you are finding it hard balancing motherhood and working, remember you are not alone in this.
Mistress of Jesse James want to have a "woman-to-woman" talk with Sandra
Michelle "Bombshell" McGee tells Life & Style, "I'm not begging for anyone's forgiveness, but if Sandra would like to have a woman-to-woman talk, I would be open to it."
"I would like to sit down with Sandra and speak one-on-one," she says. "I'd let her ask me questions, and I would be honest and open with her about the affair. If that would help her heal, I would do it."
McGee has already apologized to Sandra, but would like to sit down and talk to her.
This is honorable for Michelle to do this, we just hope she is not milking all this for her personal fame. Why doesn't she just call Sandra up herself or send her a letter and tell it to her.
If you ever found yourself on the other side of a situation like this, what would you do? Would you offer up your peace offering or a conversation? You should. It is always nice to provide somebody closure in a situation like this as well as your for yourself. As long as the conversation is civil, it can go quite well for both sides.

Michael Lohan brings police to Lindsay Lohan's house; Families in disaster
Michael Lohan arrived at his daughters house today with the police to see his younger daughter, Ali Lohan who is staying with her older sister Lindsay.
"I went to the police department concerned about Ali's welfare," Michael Lohan toldHollyscoop.com. "I wanted to check on Ali. I want to make sure she's okay. She's 16 and she doesn't belong there. She's a minor."
Of the incident, Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Nicole Nishida says: "Michael Lohan called the West Hollywood Sheriff’s and was concerned about the welfare of his [teen] daughter who was with Lindsay Lohan – I don’t know if they were living together. Sheriff’s deputies went out to Lindsay Lohan’s apartment and were given access by Lindsay Lohan and determined that for the [teen] as well as for Lindsay, there was no danger at all. A report was taken and that was it.
Michael told TMZ.com that once inside Lindsay’s apartment, he spoke to his daughter, Ali, who told him "I'm fine, daddy, I'm fine."
Lindsay tweeted afterwards, "I have no choice but to make this public, due to my sister's safety, as well as my own. My ex-dad just WALKED INTO MY APT like the devil's advocate with officers."
Lohan went on to say:
"He has NEVER paid child support, and is marrying a tabloid writer and can barely spell his own name due to his "brain" that has been ruined due to HIS drug use. when will it ever end... it's been going on my whole life with him-hasn't he caused enough pain?... thank g-d for my mommy... w/out her, i wouldn't even know myself."Michael addressed the incident saying, "Ali is being exposed to nightlife and the people Lindsay is surrounding herself with," he said, noting that he wants to meet with his daughter's attorneys to discuss becoming Lindsay's conservator".
"[Lindsay] needs help," said Michael, "and I won't stop until she gets it."
Situations like this only end in disaster. Michael Lohan is only antagonizing the situation by bring bring this up. We feel bad for the whole family at this point. Parents, it is always good to check your child into counseling during or after a divorce or a traumatic event in their life. It seems like the Lohan's didn't do this and it is only leading them into ruin. This is why we ALWAYS stress that children come first during any breakup or divorce. If not handled properly, a bad marriage and divorce can have long-lasting psychological and mental effects.
Some of us are in dysfunctional families like the Lohans and find it difficult to exist in such circumstances. The best thing to do in these circumstances is not exist in them, but to fight to change them. That starts by hitting the root of the problems on the head and addressing them one-by-one. If it requires counseling for the family, then do it. If it requires personal counseling or help, then do it. It may require an intervention or mediation. Whatever it takes to deal with the issues, you have to do it. Living in stress and pain caused by your family is not healthy and cannot cause a downward spiral of problems and misfortunes.

South Park Censored after death threats
The show bleeped the words "Prophet Muhammad" and covered the character's face with a block reading "Censored." The episode, which was the show's 201st, is not currently available for streaming. "We do not have network approval to stream our original version of the show," the creators wrote onSouthParkStudios.com.
"On Thursday morning, a spokesman for Comedy Central confirmed that the network had added more bleeps to the episode than were in the cut delivered by South Park Studios, and that it was not giving permission for the episode to run on the studio's Web site," the New York Times reports.
Revolution Muslim alluded on its Web site that the actions of 'South Park' creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker could earn them a fate like filmmaker Theo Van Gogh, who was murdered in Amsterdam in 2004 as vengeance for a film investigating the abuse of Muslim women in parts of Islamic society.
"We have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably wind up like Theo Van Gogh for airing this show," the post reads. "This is not a threat, but a warning of the reality of what will likely happen to them."
Abu Talhah al Amrikee, the author of the post, told FOX, "It's not a threat, but it really is a likely outcome. They're going to be basically on a list in the back of the minds of a large number of Muslims. It's just the reality."
It's a sad state that we live in where political speech has to be censored. If somebody has a criticism of another religion, they should be allowed to exercise their freedom of speech. In our world, we are way to sensitive to others opinions about our beliefs. We forget that everybody has an opinion and needs to learn how to tolerate others' opinon's of how we believe. Come on, let's learn how to get along and not be so quick to hate each other.
Parent at Middle School Outraged by T.I. Appearance; Forgiving those who mess up
T.I. is a convicted felon and recently did a stint in prison for weapons charges. A parent complained to the principal in an email about the rapper's criminal history and stated that he would have never let his daughters attend the assembly had he known ahead of time that T.I. aka Clifford Harris was attending.
Myers wrote an e-mail to Oatts, which read in part: “In the future, if T.I. or any other convicted felon needs to perform community service, ask for parental permission to allow our children to be exposed to these questionable individuals.”
Myers said Oatts replied with the following e-mail: “I thought about asking a guy who snorted cocaine and got arrested for DUI when he was 30 to come and speak to our kids, but President George W. Bush was not available.”
“I could not believe that he would put that in an e-mail or that he would say that,” said Myers.
Farmer contacted Oatts for a comment, but Oatts declined.
In another e-mail from Oatts to Myers, Oatts said: “Mr. Harris has never been convicted of homicide. We would not be able to adequately staff our states general assembly, our U.S. Congress or the executive branch of our government using your apparent standards.”
Do you think the parent's outrage against T.I. speaking at their children's school is warrented? Or do you think race was an issue?
We should all be willing to give people second chances. Especially since T.I. came to the school to speak out against bullying. He was doing something good and should be rewarded for it and not shunned. Society needs to start rewarding good behavior like this, instead of looking into somebody's past and judging them off of that. People mess up and make mistakes. That's life. If they weren't so self-righteous, they would see that he was doing community service and serving his time.

In the papers from her 2004 divorce, Kim describes how Damon made her ask permission when she wanted to leave their house, wanted her home at 4:30 to cook him dinner, and gave her money “for liposuction that Damon suggested I have because he wanted me to be perfect.”
In addition to being a prisoner to her husband’s mental abuse, Kim also claims she suffered physical abuse, including being punched in the face on multiple occasions, attempts at strangling her, and threats to kill her and her family.
Kim also says her father Robert Kardashian once “called me, outraged, to tell me that Damon brought nude pictures of my sister to his office, showed him the photos and said, “Your daughters are whores, and I have the pictures to prove it.’”
Another incident Kim recalls occurred the same day the couple was supposed to go skydiving with Justin Timberlake.
“Before we left our home, Damon hit me in the face and cut my lip open,” Kim claims. “I fell into the bed frame and banged my knee hard. I was limping when we went skydiving.”
Heather Locklear Arrested in Hit-and-Run
"While Locklear was technically arrested, she was not handcuffed or taken to a station because it was just a misdemeanor charge," Bonfiglio says. "She was cooperative, but I can't give any information about any statements she made. She was cited and released. She signed a document stating she would make a court appearance."
Residents reported the accident after hearing a loud crash at 4 am.
Locklear is currently on probation steming from a DUI she received back in 2008, so she could face up to 90 days in jail after this current violation.

Marie Osmond's Son previously attempted suicide, autopsy revealed; Overcoming depression
Michael Bryan jumped to his death on Febuary 26th from the 8th floor balcony of his apartment.
In a suicide note, Bryan "outlined his unhappiness with his life and his intent to kill himself," according to the report, which offered details of Bryan's last actions.
At about 9 p.m. the day he died, Bryan was texting with his friend and neighbor, Ruthann Clawson, saying he "felt like sh-t" and would be home soon. Clawson got a final text from him saying a note was left for her in his apartment. Moments after she found the note, she heard sirens of emergency vehicles arriving and saw his body lying on the sidewalk.
No matter how depressed you get, suicide is NEVER the answer. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Nothing in life is ever that bad to make you want to take your own. Sometimes, we can become so self-absorbed in our pity that we forget that we have so much to be thankful for.
If you find yourself feeling down about things in life, take out 15 minutes to sit and think of all things that you are grateful for in your life and all the things that you have. Talk to a family member, friend, or relative and let them know how you feel. We can't go through this life feeling alone and lonely. There is such a big and beautiful world out here with wonderful, caring people. You just have to take advantage of it and not this world get to you.

Nicki Minaj addresses criticism by colleuges, calls them "small minded"
Nicki Minaj recently addressed criticism by a few of her fellow female rappers in this video below
Do you think her critics have valid points about her image or do you think the criticism stems from jealousy and hatred?
Nicki had a valid argument that she made on here. Everybody's journey is different, but maybe they do need to study Nicki Minaj and why she doing so well and takes some tips. Females in general should work on a come-up for everybody instead of tearing each other down. Arguably, this is why the female rap game has been declining over the past decade. Women, in general, need to support each other because there is greatness in numbers!
Sandra Bullock outsmarts paparazzi!; Our paparazzi culture
She outsmarted paparazzi by letting a non-paparazzi agency called Getty to get exclusive rights to get the first pictures of her out after the controversy.
The photo launched a bidding war among the celebrity weeklies and tabloid TV shows that climaxed last night when "Entertainment Tonight" snagged the coveted image for an estimated $60,000.Paparazzi make money off of hounding celebrities and getting pictures of them, so Sandra made a mockery out of their business by letting Getty images get the pictures. We as a society are so obsessed with celebrities and what they are doing at all times that we forget they are people just like we are. Imagine if cameras were following you around during a tough period in your life trying to exploit your heartbreak for profit. You wouldn't like it, I know we wouldn't.
